The tier

Full managed care, remote first

AgileCORE covers your users, devices, Microsoft 365 and network infrastructure with the same standard of care as Complete, support, monitoring and security, delivered remotely by a dedicated team. It suits cloud-first businesses with no critical on-premises servers, a 12-person consulting firm in Cheltenham, a team that splits its week between home and office.

We provide onsite support to manage core infrastructure issues, or where we judge the work is best done onsite. AgileCORE is not an on-call onsite service, which is what keeps the monthly fee predictable. Onsite work for changes, installations of new equipment and project work is charged. For a business with no internal IT at all, AgileCORE is an outsourced IT department, delivered remotely.

Included in AgileCORE

How AgileCORE works A two-panel diagram. On the left, "Your environment" lists users, workstations and laptops, the Microsoft 365 tenant, network infrastructure, identity and endpoints, and third-party software. On the right, "AgileCORE team" lists helpdesk and user support, monitoring and patching, security baselines, Microsoft 365 management, vendor coordination, and periodic reviews. A central orange "CORE" badge sits between them with arrows in both directions: issues and requests flow from the environment to the team, monitoring and action flow back. Below the main diagram, a dashed orange "+ ONSITE" callout shows that onsite support is provided for core infrastructure issues, or where Agile IT judges the work is best done onsite. Questions

AgileCORE FAQs

What is included in AgileCORE?
AgileCORE includes remote helpdesk support for users and supported systems, proactive monitoring and patching, applied and maintained security baselines, full Microsoft 365 management, endpoint and identity management, and remote coordination with third-party vendors.
Is the price really per user per month?
Yes. Pricing starts from $85 per user per month, ex GST. The final figure is confirmed in the discovery conversation, based on your environment and the service areas included.
What counts as a user?

A user is any person who uses your IT systems and has their own email address. This includes full-time employees, part-time employees, and contractors.

Shared mailboxes, resource accounts (such as meeting rooms), and distribution lists are not considered users and are not billed.

If the same person uses multiple devices, they still count as a single user. Your subscription follows the person, not the device.

Are Microsoft 365 licences included in the price?
No. The monthly fee covers managing your Microsoft 365 environment, not the licences themselves. We supply the licences and they appear as a separate line on your invoice, so you can see what you are paying for the service and what you are paying for Microsoft.

We handle the procurement, assignment and adjustments as people join and leave, and we will tell you when someone is on the wrong plan or you are paying for a licence nobody uses.
Can we get onsite help if we occasionally need it?
Yes, where it is needed. We provide onsite support to AgileCORE businesses to manage core infrastructure issues, or where we judge the work is best done onsite. AgileCORE is not an on-call onsite service, so if you want onsite presence as a standing part of your support, AgileCOMPLETE is the better fit. Onsite work for changes, installations of new equipment and project work is charged. Project work, such as office moves and migrations, is scoped and quoted separately.
Does this include cyber security and backup protection?

AgileCORE applies and maintains Microsoft 365 security baselines as standard. Cyber security and backup protection come with AgileSECURE, the add-on we strongly recommend on every plan. Without AgileSECURE you do not get our security tools, Microsoft 365 backup and archiving, security management and security reviews, or SMB1001 guidance.

AgileSECURE covers identity, email, endpoints, data and governance, aligned to the SMB1001 framework. Backup is a third-party commercial backup and archiving solution for Microsoft 365. AgileSECURE is from $44 per user per month ex GST on top of AgileCORE, so $129 for a fully managed and secured environment.

Do you support our existing Microsoft 365 tenant?
Yes. Microsoft 365 management is included in every AgileCORE engagement. We take ownership of licence management, configuration, security baselines, and ongoing administration of your existing tenant.

If migrations or licence consolidation are required, that is typically project work scoped before the managed service goes live.
When should I choose CORE over COMPLETE?
AgileCORE is the right fit when your environment is mostly cloud-based, you do not run on-premises servers requiring active management, and onsite support is not a regular requirement.

If you run critical on-premises systems, need quarterly business reviews, or want onsite presence across your service area, AgileCOMPLETE is the better fit.
Can we move from CORE to Complete later?
Yes. As your business changes, the tier can change with it. A periodic technology review is a natural point to reassess whether CORE still fits.
Is remote IT support enough for a small business?
For most cloud-first businesses, yes. If your systems run on Microsoft 365 and you have no on-premises servers, almost every issue can be diagnosed and fixed remotely, usually faster than waiting for a visit. The honest exception is physical work: cabling, hardware failures, new office fit-outs. Where a core infrastructure issue needs someone on site, or we judge the work is best done there, we come to you. AgileCORE is not an on-call onsite service, so if onsite is a standing need, AgileCOMPLETE is the better tier.
