We are a Mornington Peninsula business, and Fusion is a Mornington Peninsula charity. It is already one of the two organisations we support through our giving, so when its tenth Annual Gala came around, backing it was an easy decision. This year the night is called A Night in the Vines, and it is on Friday 16 October at Dromana Estate Winery.
We would love our clients, partners and wider network to come along, host a table, sponsor the evening or simply chip in. Here is what the night is, the local work it pays for, and how you can join us.
What A Night in the Vines is
It is Fusion's tenth Annual Gala, and a genuinely good evening: award-winning food and wine, live entertainment, a few inspiring stories and some lively auctions, all in the surrounds of the Dromana Estate vineyard. It is also the single biggest night of the year for a cause that does quiet, unglamorous, year-round work close to home.
Every ticket, sponsorship and donation goes towards safe accommodation, mentoring and practical support for young people and families experiencing, or on the edge of, homelessness on the Peninsula.
The work your ticket pays for
Fusion is not an abstract cause. It has spent forty years on the Peninsula, and its 2025 numbers show what that steadiness produces.
Fusion Mornington Peninsula, 2025
Behind those figures are harder truths. Of the twenty families Fusion supported, around 85% had survived family violence, and that family work receives no government funding at all, it is paid for entirely by the local community. As Fusion's own team put it this year, this is not shiny, polished hope, it is the stubborn kind that holds on for a young person when they no longer have the strength to face another day.
Why we are getting behind it
We look after the technology and cyber security behind Peninsula businesses. "Your Business IT, Our Responsibility" is our promise to clients, but responsibility does not stop at the office door. It also means being useful in the community we work in.
Youth homelessness here is mostly invisible. It rarely looks like the image people carry in their heads. It looks like couch surfing, sleeping in a car, or staying somewhere unsafe because there is no other option. Fusion works in the earlier window, where support still changes the shape of a young person's life. That work happens fifteen minutes from our Mornington base, in the same communities our clients and team live in. We want the Peninsula to keep being the kind of place that looks after its own, so we are lending this event our support and our voice. You can read more about how we support Fusion on our Giving Back page.
