About the festival

A full day for the regional business community

A crowd of business owners and exhibitors at the Frankston & Mornington Peninsula Business Festival expo

The Frankston & Mornington Peninsula Business Festival is the region’s flagship gathering for business owners, managers and leaders. The 2026 program runs under the theme Future Frontiers: Navigating Growth and Opportunity Across Our Region, where ideas become economic impact.

It is a full day of speakers, sessions, exhibitors and connection, hosted by the Frankston Business Chamber in collaboration with the Frankston Arts Centre, Frankston City and Nichols Crowder.

For a business in our area, it is one of the best days of the year to learn something useful, meet the people behind other local businesses, and get a clear read on where the regional economy is heading.

The 2026 program is structured around a series of Future Frontiers Growth Precincts, each one a key sector shaping the region’s economy, with its own exhibitor zones, speakers and industry-led discussions:

  • Property & Development
  • Finance & Investment
  • Tourism & Hospitality
  • Health, Wellbeing & Workplace Safety
  • Manufacturing & Industry
  • Retail & Entrepreneurship
  • Education & Emerging Opportunities
  • Social & Community Infrastructure

Innovation Frontiers: The Good, The Bad and The Bot

Making sense of AI, emerging technologies and business security.

Technology is changing fast, and AI is right in the middle of it. For a lot of business owners, it is exciting, a bit confusing, and probably already showing up in the workplace, whether there is a plan for it or not.

In this session, Linden Jackson from Agile IT Solutions will discuss what AI and smarter technologies really mean for small and medium-sized businesses. Not the hype, not the big end of town stuff, just the practical side of what is changing, where the opportunities are, and where businesses need to be careful.

From saving time with better tools and automation, to the risks around data, security and staff using AI tools without clear rules, Linden will share a straight-up view of what business owners and managers should be thinking about now.

Why we sponsor this festival

Agile IT is a 2026 Corporate member of the Frankston Business Chamber, and sponsoring the Business Festival is a natural extension of that. We are a local business that works with other local businesses, and the health of the Frankston and Mornington Peninsula business community matters to us.

Backing the festival is a straightforward way to support that community and to be useful in it, turning up, sharing what we know, and helping other owners make better-informed technology decisions.
